Robergeau Duverger was born in the Republic of Haiti. In 1983, he received a B.S. in scientific illustration from Pace University in New York and in 1987 he received a M.F.A. in painting from C.W. Post in Brookville, NY. While continuing to hone his skills as an artist, Robergeau served as a full time art director during the intervening years. In 2009, Duverger began a new body of work entitled Trafficking. While human trafficking is still found in many forms around the world including the United States, this series is focused on the restaveks from his native Haiti.
